The 4am Project is a global photography project that aims to capture the often unseen time of 4am. To date around 50 countries have take part and over 6000 images of 4am have been captured.
Now the 4am Project wants to capture Nottingham at 4am and invites you to take part in this world wide collaboration in your city centre!
Here's the details!
3.45am: Meet by the left Lion in front of the Council House
4am-5am: It's time to flex our 4am Photography muscles and capture the city centre at a time it's rarely seen! We will aim for a rough loop of the square but there isn't a fix agenda or walk. I'll be at hand if anyone wants some photography hints and tips.
5am: Meet back at the left lion at 5am. Then tea/coffee warm up and chill out time! At 5.15, those who would like to (and I hope you will!) can arrive to the Mercure Hotel who have kindly offered us a function room with tea/coffee at £3. This will be a good chance to meet and chat with the other 4am photographers! :)
What to bring with you:
Dress warmly and wear comfortable shoes with a good grip.
You camera!
Tripod if you have one.
Flash and memory cards, and don't forget to charge your batteries :)
We will be out in the city centre of Nottingham which I expect to have good wheelchair accessibility.
